Do you know your rights as a Carer?

Today is Carers Rights Day and this year the theme is ‘recognise your rights’. Today is important for raising awareness of the rights carers are entitled to. Did you know you have a right to be identified as a Carer? A right to be protected from discrimination? A right to request a Carers Assessment or to request flexible working arrangements?
CRCC has a long history of supporting carers, with over 30 years’ of experience leading on carers services. Our current provision is Cornwall Carers Service, which we deliver with Age UK Cornwall & The Isles of Scilly, Promas, disAbility Cornwall & IoS & Barnardo's.
Cornwall Carers Service is dedicated to supporting unpaid and informal Carers in Cornwall and today the service announced they will soon be launching a new forum - ‘Connecting Carers Cornwall’ – a space where Carers can find valuable resources, connect with other carers, and share stories.
