Inclusion Cornwall 20 Year Awards
03.10.24
Last Friday we had the pleasure of attending Inclusion Cornwall’s 20 Year Awards.
Inclusion Cornwall was set up in 2004 to be the dedicated inclusion voice across Cornwall and has challenged barriers, increased understanding and improved the quality of life in Cornwall ever since. CRCC has worked alongside Inclusion Cornwall for many years and was proud to see Jane Morgan win one of their 20 Year Awards!
Jane started at CRCC in 2008 and in that time has supported mental health, energy advice and digital inclusion projects. In every role Jane has dedicated herself to supporting and empowering the individuals she meets - from providing training to allow them to stay connected to their families and friends to ensuring they get a fair deal on their energy bills. One memorable occasion saw her save a St Agnes resident over £2000!
Jane has helped improve quality of life for countless individuals across the county. In her current role as Digital Outreach Officer she supports adults to get online with patience and understanding.
And this summer has been incredibly busy for Jane as she also received a nomination for The Proud to Care Awards 2024; ‘‘Community Based Worker of the Year’’ for her work with our Digital Together project, helping to reduce digital exclusion in adults across Cornwall.
CRCC is proud to have so many wonderful staff that are dedicated to supporting and strengthening Cornwall’s communities
