These roles are part of delivery funded through the national Crisis Resilience Fund (CRF), which aims to provide timely crisis support while helping people build longer term financial resilience.
In this role, you will work directly with individuals to understand their circumstances, provide practical support, and help reduce the risk of repeat crisis. You will offer person-centred, one-to-one support through guided conversations, helping people to access Crisis Payments where appropriate and to connect with wider advice, support and services.
You will:
Work alongside individuals to explore their situation in a respectful and non-judgemental way.
Support people to address immediate financial pressures and identify steps towards greater resilience.
Help strengthen local referral pathways and partnership working.
Maintain accurate records and contribute to reducing repeat crisis through early, preventative support.
This is a rewarding frontline role for someone who enjoys working with people, can communicate clearly and empathetically, and is confident taking a holistic approach to support. You will have experience in a community, advice, outreach or support role, and be comfortable working with people who may be experiencing stress or vulnerability. You will also work closely with colleagues and partner organisations across the voluntary, health and social care sectors, contributing to a joined up and supportive local response.
An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
