Trustee week is an opportunity to celebrate

08.10.24

Trustee Week is an opportunity to celebrate our current Trustees, and support and inspire people to volunteer as a Trustee.

CRCC is overseen by a board of Trustees and we are lucky to have a board of committed, experienced and inspiring individuals. Our board have a range of experience, interests and skills, meaning they provide valuable insight and guidance to support us.

Trustees are an essential part of running a charity and play a vital role in the good governance and effectiveness of an organisation. Their contribution is invaluable and the role offers people the opportunity to share their skills and experience in a way that offers rewards beyond the financial.

Our Trustees regularly interact with our staff – with Chair, Roger and board member, David joining us at a recent All Staff day:

‘The day proved to be extremely valuable, not only for the chance to engage with staff, but also to witness, first-hand, the appreciation from everyone involved … The words I took away from the day were community, impact and passion.’

David’s reflections on the day.

Our Trustees share our values of engaging, supporting and adapting so that we can best support and help strengthen Cornish communities. To find out more, or if you are interested in becoming a trustee of CRCC to please contact Katherine Nissen by emailing Katherine.Nissen@cornwallrcc.org.uk
