Learn Your Way (LYW) is a programme of study for young people aged 16-24 who have an Education, Health, Care Plan (EHCP). We have provisions in both Penzance and Truro and aim to provide the right support and encouragement for young people to achieve a qualification, learn skills and build confidence.

A group of students from our Truro provision have created a Christmas business this year – handmaking beautiful ornaments and decorations to sell at local markets. The business has introduced the group to work experience and will allow them to interact with Truro’s community and to develop customer service and business skills.

The team have made a selection of Christmas goods, including:

• Fused Glass Candle Trees (made from recycled glass) for £18 each

• Glass tree decorations for £6.50 each – limited stock!

• Framed glass trees for £12 each

• Sustainable vintage music paper stars

• Recycled glass baubles

• And on their last two market dates they will be making wreaths

To support our students and buy some beautiful handcrafted Christmas gifts visit their stall at Lemon Street Market from 10am-2pm on November 27th, December 4th and 11th. They’ll also be at Truro outdoor Christmas Market on December 18th.
