Cornwall Chamber Members Join CRCC to Celebrate Charity of the Year and 80 Years of Impact
Last week, as their Charity of the Year for 2026, we hosted an event with Cornwall Chamber of Commerce at Heartlands.
We were delighted to welcome members of the Cornwall Chamber of Commerce to join us at Heartlands as we celebrate being the chamber’s Charity of the Year 2026.
Having been selected as Charity of the Year in January, the partnership has provided a valuable opportunity to raise awareness of our work and connect with businesses from across Cornwall. Our event at Heartlands offered Chamber members the chance to find out more about the projects and services we deliver, while also joining us in celebrating our 80th anniversary year.
Founded in 1946, we have spent eight decades helping strengthen communities and supporting people to thrive across Cornwall. Today, we work across a wide range of areas including education and training, environmental programmes, community development, rural and coastal support and wellbeing services.
The event also showcased the achievements of learners from our Learn Your Way programme, who worked alongside the Cornwall Hospitality Collective to serve drinks and pasties to attendees, before members joined a Clean Cornwall litter pick of the Heartlands site!
Further activities are planned throughout our 80th anniversary year, including a special gala dinner in November. Use the buttons below to find out more:
