When Life Takes an Unexpected Turn, We're Here to Help
CRF provides support to people across Cornwall who are experiencing financial hardship, an unexpected crisis, or significant life changes.
Our aim is to help people remain safe, healthy and independent by providing access to essential items and practical support when they need it most.
Whether you're struggling to afford basic household necessities, moving into a new home after a period of homelessness, or recovering from an unexpected crisis, the fund may be able to help.
Who Is the Fund For?
The Fund is designed to support Cornwall residents who are:
· Unpaid and Informal Carers
· Disabled People & Long-term Health Conditions
· Marginalised Communities: Low-income households in material deprivation, older people and those in rural or isolated areas
· Hard-to-Reach Individuals
Priority may be given to people whose health, wellbeing or independence may be at risk without support.
What can CRF Help With?
Support is available through:
· Crisis Payments for individuals (typically up to £100) facing crisis or financial shock, to meet immediate essential needs.
· Resilience Payments: Smaller grants to support prevention of future crises.
· As part of your grant support, a CRF Outreach Worker can help connect you with other services, such as debt advice, benefits support, and specialist organisations that can help you build financial resilience.
Applications are assessed on an individual basis, and awards are based on need and eligibility.
