Get Online Week
20.10.25
This week, to celebrate Get Online Week, we are looking back on the impact of our Digital Together project and celebrating new research and support available for Cornish communities.
Through a partnership of public sector, university and charity partners Digital Together supported:
A minimum of 13 people to secure employment, one of whom gained a job as a welder, who was offline and didn’t have a CV before his involvement with the project.
4 women to gain jobs in the digital industry through training from the TecGirls project.
25 grant-funded projects supporting community groups using technology for positive social change.
Improved connectivity by facilitating access to broadband and loaning 143 MIFI units to support connectivity in a challenging geography.
The long-term loan of 1650 devices supported 101 loan organisations, upskilling 7001 beneficiaries, and embedding 371 digital champions countywide.

As part of the Digital Community Hubs Project, delivered by the University of Plymouth as part of Digital Together, the Community Creative Digital Toolkit was created to empower you to bring digital creativity to your community. The toolkit is packed with practical inspiration and strategies to empower organisations, community groups, and individuals to create and nurture innovative digital projects. From heritage and health to biodiversity, landscape, and wellbeing, you’ll find real-world examples of how digital tools can address local challenges in creative ways.
