PRESS RELEASE:

CRCC Launches New Brand & Strategic Plan

26.04.24

Cornwall Rural Community Charity (CRCC) is proud to unveil our fresh brand identity and strategic plan, reflecting our commitment to supporting and strengthening Cornwall’s Communities.

Meeting at Scorrier House the team got together to celebrate CRCC’s 78 year legacy, unveil the new brand and look to the future. This week we have launched the brand online.

The new brand incorporates our three key areas of work - Rural & Coastal, Education & Training and Carers & Wellbeing. It also embodies our values - engage, support and adapt, which guide us as we continue to provide essential services to Cornwall’s communities.

Our Strategic Plan sets out our vision for the next five years. We focus on what we do well: delivering quality services and activities to those communities and individuals who most need our support.

Our Rural & Coastal work currently involves empowering local infrastructure projects, as well as helping voluntary and community sector organisations to demonstrate their impact. Our Clean Cornwall project helps community groups tackle litter, whilst our Fishing Animateur project provides sustainable support to fishing communities.

Through our Education & Training work we deliver Adult Education for young people aged 16-24 who have an Education, Health & Care Plan, with our Learn your Way and Work Your Way programmes.

Our Carers & Wellbeing provision includes services for unpaid carers through Cornwall Carers Service, information and advice to increase well-being through our Inclusion Matters partnership and Digital Together, our digital inclusion partnership project funded by Good Growth.

At Cornwall Rural Community Charity, we are constantly seeking opportunities to broaden our reach and impact in the community. As we look to the future, we are committed to expanding our projects to better serve those in need across the region.

Our focus on innovation and collaboration drives us to explore new avenues for supporting the rural population. Through strategic partnerships, increased community engagement, and the dedication of our staff and volunteers, we are confident in our ability to make a positive difference in the lives of many.

Our CEO Katherine Nissen said:

“It was a privilege to spend a day together celebrating all CRCC has achieved in its 78 year history and to launch our new brand which illustrates our three core areas of work. We have such a dedicated team of staff and we are proud of the work that we do to support people in Cornwall’s communities. We look forward to continuing our work alongside our dedicated partners in the VCSE in Cornwall.”

Over the coming weeks and months we will be reintroducing our current projects through an online campaign, as well as continuing to expand our efforts and work towards building a stronger, more resilient community for all.
